3/6/2018 – Power supplier Entergy Pilgrim Station states the following “Entergy Pilgrim Station made the decision to shut down and remove the unit from the grid this morning due to an indication of a likely water leak inside the feedwater heating system.  The heater with the suspected leak, known as the 5th Point,  is located inside the condenser bay and due to this location, the unit needed to be shut down to allow for a proper inspection and repair under the safest conditions possible.  When Pilgrim returns to service is considered business sensitive information and we do not share that information publicly.  Pilgrim employees and the public remained safe at all times.”
