CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC – REMOTE LEARNING SET FOR CLOSED SCHOOLS

Boston Public Schools is working to ensure that students’ remote learning needs are met during their time away from school.
Students were able to take home a Chromebook from school on Monday, March 16. Additional Chromebooks will be deployed during the closure. Parents will receive an invitation to sign up for a Chromebook. We also want to remind families that the meal distribution sites do not have Chromebooks to keep the group sizes under 25 people.
High schools have provided students with a free cell phone/hotspot through the 1 Million Project. If you were unable to receive a hotspot prior to the school closure, we encourage you to explore the Internet options on this page. Boston Public Schools will continue to let families know about additional resources over the coming weeks if they are unable to apply for one of the current promotions.
